Diversity Advocacy

The Department of Diversity Advocacy is dedicated to fighting for students who are typically underrepresented at AU and beyond. We focus on Multicultural students, students with disabilities, and Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender (GLBT) students. This year we will be working on project like an African American Studies major in CAS, gender-neutral housing, removing the exclusion for transgender students in our University health insurance plan, making sure all buildings are more accessible to students with disabilities, and testing the wheel chair access lifts in the shuttles are in proper working order.
